Ghosts

Just what are they, what are the different types?

Also called spirits, apparitions, spectres, wraiths, visions, astral beings, we can define a ghost as a paranormal representation of the physical and or mental presence that exists out with the former physical form.

The pursuit of ghosts and associated phenomenon is often called paranormal research. The term Para, means “beyond” ,therefore the study is concerned with that beyond normal research.

Whenever I am confronted with the question “ can this phenomena actually exist, surely we would know about this day of hi-tech equipment” I always like to keep in mine this quote.

"In the late 1800’s Charles Duell , Head of the United States Patent Office made a bold statement. He wanted to close the Patent Office in 1899 , as he felt “everything imaginable had already been invented”.

In order to define ghosts more closely we can sub-divide them into five categories.
